Stacked crown moldings and a furniture base treatment provide strong
upper and lower definition to the design. Note how the Tahoe style
on the island (above right) employs an applied molding, adding
depth and visual interest. Decorator panels along the serving
end of the island contribute a furniture-like finishing touch.
