To tie the kitchen to the adjacent family room, Showplace cabinetry
was used to create the charming display cabinet shown above left.
Half-round fluted columns and a substantial furniture base add
to the furniture-like impression of this compact and handsome
room accent. Built-in bookcase and entertainment units (one is
shown above right) use tall half-round fluted columns to flank
each side of the design, adding an important vertical counterpoint
