Cherry tends toward elegant warm tones, and also darkens considerably as it ages. Cherry has a fine grain that often exhibits swirls and a flowing, random pattern. Color varies from nearly white to dark reddish brown. Cherry is our highest-priced wood species offering.

For a traditional, elegant Cherry expression, choose the Cordova finish. This dark red tone is almost purple, creating an impression of comforting grandeur that will mellow and darken as it ages. Consider an ebony glaze on Cordova to create even more dramatic depth and contrast.		All Showplace door styles are available in all woods except the mitered styles, which are offered in maple and cherry only. Bear in mind that variability is one of wood's finest natural qualities, and actual finishes will differ. Computer monitors also add their own interpretation to colors.
