Maple has a fine, uniform grain pattern, and tends toward lighter colorations. Like all woods, maple will darken with age, but to a lesser degree than cherry. Maple takes on a subtly mottled appearance in darker stains. Maple costs slightly less than cherry.

The Cashmere finish is lovely in bright, natural settings. It adds a hint of warmth to natural maple, creating a casual, friendly feel. It also is a perfect base for the application of carmel glazing. For more details on Showplace glazes, click here.

Maple Cashmere
All Showplace door styles are available in all woods except the mitered styles, which are offered in maple and cherry only. Bear in mind that variability is one of wood's finest natural qualities, and actual finishes will differ. Computer monitors also add their own interpretation to colors. See actual finished samples at your Showplace dealer.
